The days are thoughtfully designed to give you just enough structure while offering plenty of free time and flexibility.
You’ll have movement classes on the beach in the morning and mindfulness classes in the afternoon, with about six hours of free time each day.
Everything is completely optional and timing may vary. You'll find each day follows a similar flow:

Brunch at our villa, prepared by our private chef
Afternoon
5-6 hours of free time
If you’re looking to relax, you can hang at the beach, chill at the villa, walk the jungle trails, get a massage, or explore the shops and restaurants nearby.
If you’re looking for adventure, we’ll coordinate whatever you’d like - surf lessons, ATV tours, horseback riding, ziplining, snorkeling, and more.

Your accommodations, food, and movement/mindfulness classes are all included. More specifically:
Six night/Seven day stay in elegant and luxurious accommodations

Our villa is less than a five-minute walk from the beach.

Most people who join don’t have a regular mindfulness practice. The only thing that’s important is an open mind to trying new things.
For those who do have experience, it’s an opportunity to deepen your practice with world-class instructors in the wellness paradise of Nosara.

Absolutely not. This is your trip and it’s important for you to get from it what you need. If at any point you don’t want to join a class or activity, that’s totally ok.

Of course! Our private chefs can meet almost any dietary restriction. And as you explore Nosara, you'll find incredible restaurants that offer vegan, gluten-free, and many other options.

Definitely not! About half of our guests are solo travelers.

The group size is general 8-10 guests. We cap it at 12 to ensure a personal experience for each guest.

Yes. Sometimes, there’s nothing better than a drink to wind down after a long day. Alcohol is allowed, just not included.

Hey! I’m Max.
I’m not a guru or a hardcore yogi.
I’m a former corporate leader who understands the real-world pressure of a demanding career and personal life.
I know the role mindfulness can play in reducing stress and finding balance. It’s what saved me when I started experiencing anxiety attacks and burnt out after a decade in consulting.
And it’s what inspired me to start Sand and Salt Escapes.
